About Emma Cameron

Emma Cameron’s paintings explore the nature of Selfhood, and in particular the pull within the Self between vulnerability and potency. Expressive use of paint acts as a metaphor for this struggle.
'The making of each painting becomes a journey, beginning with initial random marks on canvas, the painting acting as a metaphor for some kind of inner struggle.'
Emma Cameron, 2010
Work in private collections in England, Scotland, Jordan, Switzerland and the USA.
